Ressorts Masselin is the manufacturer of a wide range of springs engineered to customer standards. Our solutions include suspension springs or complete work packages including torsion bars.

We manufacture all springs according to stringent quality requirement and are ISO 9001 certified .

Hot rolled suspension springs

Springs for suspension applications are designed by our engineering department before they are manufactured in our factory, which is able to handle all springs up to 94mm bar diameter. By mastering the calculation and manufacturing of these springs, we are able to offer standard springs but also variable section for weight constraint or variable stiffness for specific applications.

Shotpeening and powder coating is done in-house according to various standards, including US Army specifications.

Torsion bars for heavy-duty military vehicles

To complete our product range and thus become a real partner for all suspension applications on heavy-duty military vehicles, we have invested in manufacturing capabilities for torsion bars.

Thanks to our extensive experience of those components in the railway industry, we are able to assist you at the very earliest stages of your projects and guide you through the complete engineering phase to the prototype and serial production. Once the design freeze has been agreed, we manufacture the bars in-house and purchase equipments such as forged levers, which can be shrink fitted.

Combat aircraft parts, rifles, guns and antennas

Among our other spring applications in the military, we can source combat aircraft parts, rifles, guns and antennas. Some of these applications require the use of special materials such as titanium and can even include machined mechanical parts, which are adjusted to the spring itself according to various techniques, thus enabling the delivery of complete sub-assemblies.
