LTE in Tactical Communucations
By Bittium
LTE, also known as 4G, is the latest mobile communications
standard that has been widely deployed by mobile operators throughout the world. In comparison to previous 3GPP standards, LTE has been designed for packet-switched IP data transfer only. The wireless access is based on multicarrier technology with advanced resource allocation and scheduling mechanisms. LTE also supports advanced network topologies including pico and femtocells in addition to relay stations.
Reliable wireless broadband services allow mobile users to access the internet, email and other services anywhere and at any time.
