RF spectrum awareness in electronic warfare
By CRFS
The modern battlespace can be considered to be made up of five domains: land, sea, air, space and cyber. Radio frequency (RF) signals are used across all five of these domains, for communications, positioning, navigation, and gathering and disseminating intelligence. This abundance of activity provides strategic opportunities for appropriately equipped units. CRFS explores some of the ways that a complete spectrum monitoring system can be used to gain a tactical advantage.
